[Collection of Spanish and Latin geographical and religious materials], [1688-ca.1785].

Collection of four vols. which consists of: Extractos de la Idea del Valor de la Isla Espanola (Summaries of the Valuable Explorations of Hispanola); these are summaries or extracts consisting of detailed descriptions of Hispanola (now the Dominican Republic), its overall geography, and customs of its native peoples. It was written by A.S. Valverde, ca. 1785. Epistola: possibly a combination of a letter and sermon written in Spanish and Latin by Rev. A. Augustin. On the front cover is a place and date, Madrid, Apr. 1688. Summaries of the life of Juan de Ribera, Bishop of Badajoz and later Archbishop of Valencia, Spain. This vol. seems to be a continuation of Valverde's extract. A treatise of J.D. Michaelis, possibly concerning Bible translations, ca. 1768.
